"Ummm...What's a Love-Apple?!"

As promised, I am blogging on December 2nd. This is going to be rough, but I have to get used to writin in here every day no matter what :)...unless I'm in the hospital....well...then I guess I would then have more time to blog...bah

So I have also started a new commitment:
Running :)

I will be running a half marathon in May, and a 5k early next year. I started running again over Thanksgiving break and did 3 miles yesterday and 2 today. I will do this. I am a healthy 22 year old woman. I can run 13 miles....in one sitting....right?! No gonna lie, I would like to have a cute boy holdin flowers at the finish line...but I'll finish regardless :)

Now for why the title is what it is:

Today was the bible study that I lead. We are currently goin over Song of Solomon (I know, I know) and today we read a passage in The Message version that referred to a love-apple....baha as Steph read is she just goes, "Ummm...Whata love-apple?!" In a very disturbed tone. Those girls just make my life. They are so sweet in their pursuit of Jesus. I love them.

My blogs will get s tidbit more interesting with time, I promise :)

Reason for the Season

"We love because HE FIRST LOVED us." 1 John 4:19 We are called to do as Christ did; Love...LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE! I cannot say that enough times. We are called to LOVE everyone. Cabin Fever

I want to run. BUT I am SO thankful for this time to work on school work. God is good and faithful :) It's just 5 short days until my FAVORITE day of the year: VALENTINE'S DAY! I know...I know... grumblegrumblegrumblegrumble Hear me out here: Forget about the pepto-pink aisles at WalMart lined with Love Note TUMS and enough candy to send you into a sugar coma for 19 months. Forget about the oversized Teddy bears that could double as couches if you ever found yourself in a pinch.Go with me here: Imagine a day where everyone has a little lift to their step, Imagine a day where sincere compliments are filling the hallways of offices and schools.
